General Sticks is Dimitris Stergiou, a drummer, drums teacher, producer, and composer based in Athens, Greece. His journey in music has been shaped by his love for rhythm and his drive to blend dub, reggae, bass music, and cinematic elements with Mediterranean influences. Drawing from his experience as a live performer and producer, he strives to create immersive soundscapes that connect the organic and the electronic.

As part of Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution, he's had the privilege of performing at amazing festivals and venues across Europe, including Rototom Sunsplash in Spain, the One Love Festival in the UK, and iconic spots like Hootananny Brixton. Collaborating with artists like Gappy Ranks and Skarra Mucci has been a truly enriching experience that helped him grow as an artist.

In his solo work, he has partnered with incredible talents such as Rider Shafique, Ras Demo, and Turboflow3000 to create music that combines bass-heavy grooves with melodic depth. As a session drummer, he has also worked with notable Greek artists like Marina Satti, Rena Morfi, and Rodes United, which has allowed him to explore a wide range of genres and cultures.

His mission is to keep pushing the boundaries of modern bass music, combining tradition with cutting-edge production techniques.
